I was using the service through USABancshares, where I had an online account and it was provided to me at no charge. After the tech bubble bursting I consolidated several accounts, closing out the ones I no longer use, USAB being one of those. I've had no desire to seek out an alternative service for the online bill pay since it really did not make much of a difference to me in time savings. The thing you need to keep in mind is I have very few bills at this time, I focused on paying off all my bills so I may very well be a poor example of the typical user. Most people have at least some bills (mortgage being a common one)and may get a greater benefit out of this ability. On the financial end, if you have 6 bills per month you could pay electronically, why pay $5-10 for the service if you could stick on stamps for $2.04? Geez, I sound like I'm trying to convince myself to sell my position huh?
