John:

Here is my problem with ENE.

The president resigned a few months back. If he stayed till year end a $2M loan would have been automatically forgiven. His contract also called for a serverance package worth upwards to $30M (not sure of all conditions). He didn't try to leave and negotiate a package (or if he did it wasn't publicized)

In my experience this is a warning sign of something. Don't ask me what but it just doesn't smell right. I don't think the SEC investigation and cross relationships are the real issue, I think it can be something else. I don't see the President resigning for an SEC investigation to lose $2M minimum plus his salary thru year end.

I can be totally wrong and agree with your comment on a selling climax but I just avoid these situations.

Tim
