you seem to be ignorant (or just want to overlook) of the fact that for almost every island the americans took back from the japanese that rather than surrender the japanese soldiers fought (except for a very small percent) until their deaths. it was quite clear to all the military that for japanese homeland islands, kyushu, etc., the japanese soldiers plus the population of japan would have fought in just the same manner. even when the us dropped leaflets on the japanese warning them about an unreal new bomb, they did not respond. even after the first atomic bomb they did not surrender. i am not trying to convince you of anything, because you are just a contrarian and because your neurons are clearly frozen too.
