Comb, >Absolutely! Fujitsu pays for the fabs, and AMD gets to buy them from FASL for cost of manufacturing. Too bad Intel couldn't convince another company to do the same. But who would want to do that with a commodity, low margin product like Intel produces?

Have you ever dealt with a Japanese company in a joint venture with high tech products? I have, know a few others that have, and I've always heard the same thing: if you can possibly go it alone, you're far, far better off. Speaking of Fujitsu...
