I am surprised they are still in business -- they have had years to figure out a business model that might work over the long term. Yet, I don't think they've found it. Along the way the only folks that really made BIG MONEY off Amazon are the CEO, Kleiner Perkins (the main VC that backed them), and Morgan Stanley (the I-Bank that took them public)....Very few employees and individual investors have done that well with Amazon. It's very different from that famous Seattle-based software firm called Microsoft. We'll see who's around a few years from now....=) Regards, Scott
