Thanks for telling us something of how you came to the present point in your Faith.

I would agree with you that one's personal relationship with God is the Central issue. From my vantage point that is entirely possible coming from one of any number of
Spiritual paths.

Like you, I spent many years investigating many paths, including the Teachings of:

Jesus
The Buddha
various Persian mystics
Lao Tzu
various Zen teachers
Ramakrishna
Vivekananda
Ramana Maharshi
Meher Baba
Swami Muktananda
The Urantia Book

plus many others, before coming to my Guru, Adi Da.

I personally feel there is great merit in having a living
Teacher, but in saying that I am not discrediting those whose paths are not the same as mine.
