Will be very interesting to see if and how this thread, which I have enjoyed in all of the iterations I've seen, although sporadically, with multi-month lapses in reading it, 'evolves.'
Caught a couple of your posts referencing investing/trading, etc. on the (useless, IMO) GEORGE W BUSH thread. Talk about circular wastes-of-time. Does anybody there ever learn anything from anybody else?
I could see from those posts that you and I agree on that 'issue.' With pursuit of the goal of lifelong financial security in different ways, perhaps. But with the same, common goal of responsibility for our own lives -- with or without SS, I fear...
