"Or am I missing something?"

Actually you are missing a lot. The Nascaq lost 1/2 of its value while Clinton was President. Moreover, the market is an indicator of what is to come, not what happened. Thus when Bush took office the Top had been in for nearly a year which means that whatever happened occurred on Clinton's watch. That does not mean he caused it, it is to refute your repeated assertions that whoever is President when something bad happens is responsible.

Your are correct in your assertion that the Reps don't know what to do about it, but neither do the Dems because they don't understand what has happened. Both parties are clueless and if the public doesn't start to force real solutions we are headed for depression or run away inflation.

It is just a waste of time to place blame. There is plenty to go around. Remember, we haven't had one party in control for a long time. Both parties are creating this mess.
