I wonder how much a proven shorter would have liked to have gladly paid $10 a share for this supposed "crummy" stock opposed to getting inhaled Anthrax from a ham sandwich made on his own kitchen counter. The point being, if this product gets to market, it's going to sell like hotcakes and previous quarters be damned. Is it going to be the next General Motors, no, of course not. Can it potentially make a boat-load of cash in the near future...yes. Can that revenue erase it's current debt...yes, many times over. That's what those of us that own it are speculating in. Amazingly enough, those not involved or concerned at all still come out of the woodwork concerned about the short position of VLPI. All that tells me is perhaps those who shorted it expected this company to die this year, as their own statement to the SEC states. Nobody could have foreseen this world as it is today, this fear, this market, and the oddly related need for this companies product all of a sudden. However, those of us that see the need and the cash generated thereof, would like to have a few moments of cashful bliss before this bs kills us all.
