LMGR Light Management Group Inc. Announces Application of Ultraviolet Scanner as
Core Element in the Detection of Micro-Organisms

NORCROSS, Ga., Oct 24, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Light Management Group Inc.
(LMG) (OTCBB:LMGR), developer of new applications in optical and light
technologies employing sound waves, today announced that its acousto-optic
technology, using its proprietary Ultraviolet (UV) Scanner, has an opportunity
to be a viable instrument in the detection of elements of biological warfare.

The UV Scanner system from LMG could use a prepared product from any kind of
biological or environmental sample. In this regard, the UV Scanner system would
become the key element of a larger detection system. The extreme sensitivity of
the UV Scanner would aid in sample size preparation and analysis. The
fully-computerized, ultra-fast UV Scanning system with flexible software and
precise pixel-positioning could readily become the key element of biological
warfare detection.

It is expected that the UV Scanner from LMG will experience commercial status in
the first quarter, 2002.

"The threat of harmful micro-organisms is very real and a contentious current
issue," said Dr. Donald J. Iwacha, CEO & President, Light Management Group. "We
are proud to introduce our UV Scanner as a potential nucleus in biological
warfare detection equipment -- an application with near-term implication."

Light Management Group Inc. specializes in the development of new applications
in optical and light technologies. LMG's breakthrough technology employs sound
waves to focus and direct light. LMG has filed for two United States patents in
the fiber optics field, both of which could have significant applications in
telecommunications, data transmission, and Internet technology. Light Management
Group is committed to fulfilling demand for multiple, complex levels of
switching within the communications industry.

uncertainties. These statements may differ materially from actual future events
or results. Readers are referred to the documents filed by LMG with the SEC,
