The problem with Gambro (if it is indeed a problem - who knows) is that there are consistent rumours in this part of the world, that they will be bought. Or perhaps sold is a better word in their case. It is no secret here is Sweden that their major shareholder would love to see them leave. The problem so far is that no-one seems to have been willing to meet their expectations with regard to monetary considerations. The main candidate to open the check-book is normally supposed to be Baxter. So, BioTransplant might suddenly find themselves with a completely new partner. Ice
