The Muslims would be further ahead if they got into smuggling drugs... which country is (was) it that produces 90% of the opium worldwide? Wasn't it some country nestled between Iran and Pakistan.....A Muslim country if I recall. Didn't seem to get them too far ahead. Also seems to me that the reason that the US was attacked on 9/11 (and likely continued with the Anthrax events) is because many muslims feel persecuted by US actions. Would substituting oil for the diamonds and gold be fair? Seems like all of the ingredients are already in place and yet they still aren't further ahead.
