> You reference the suicide bomber program - how many of the billion or so that consider themselves Muslim to some extent do you consider an actual threat?

It takes only one suicide bomber to impact the lives of potentially thousands of innoncent people. I do not have to remind you that it took only 19 evil individuals to change the whole world on September 11.

Just 2 weeks ago (per NBC as I watched) 1000 Islamic students between 16 and 20 years of age graduated from one of Pakistan's Islamic schools. During their graduation ceremony they were sworn to kill Americans and non-believers as their scholars issued Jihad against the U.S.

Numbers may not mean anything, it is the evil nature of the thought that the framework promotes, which is scary.

> Do you not believe a continuing military victories will have an effect on the recruiting of suicide bombers?

No I do not believe so. You see for these psychopaths, the most important thing is to die regardless of achieving victory or not. They are promised they would go to heaven and will be sitting next to Mohammad with 72 virgins on their side, and with God forgiving all their sins. And all they have to do is to die in the name of Islam. The more we bomb them the more we create dead heroes out of them.

This is what Khomeini did to Iranians in the early 80's as he sent hundreds of thousands of innocent young (13-16 years) boys to their death in his illogical war with Iraq. They would literally give the boys a key to hang from their neck telling them this is the key to heaven, and then sending them in front of the troops to seek for mines. As these kids died, more and more of parents would actually volunteer their own children to go to heaven in this manner. To die in the name of Islam - regardless of victory or not - is to go to heaven right away.

At first this may not seem logical but as time progresses the act becomes natural. Remember Jim Jones tragedy in 1978-79?

> So what are you worried about?

I am worried about the spread of hard-core Koran followers to impact the vast majority of Muslims who are rather passive and would like to follow a sanitized version of Islam. The psyhcopaths we are at war with can not be deterred, and can not be reasoned with. Their elimination may bring more of them forward, as more of them die and their propaganda machines paint them as dead heroes, more will appear. What I am worried about is the silent majority who try to distance themselves from the hard-core Koran followers. If their spirit is manipulated by their scholars and religious leaders (the likes of Khomeini groupies) I am afraid the world will enter an era of evil chaos.

It is however, comforting to know that we have practically unlimited military action in all parts of the world. But I am not sure if that really is the answer to getting rid of these psychopaths.
