JC,

Aside from the miserably small "enthusiast/overclocker" market, AMD has little strength in any market. Because people don't know that AMD makes products (an amusing example is the recent Mike Magee article about how one store's employees were telling customers that AMD was a subdivision of Intel that stood for "Another Microprocessor Division", and that AMD repackaged defective P4 processors as Athlons) of their own, the only way AMD can sell their product is by word of mouth (weak method) and lowering prices (suicidal method).

So, do you own any AMD stock? You don't exactly make a strong argument for doing so, to say the least.

Tony
