Not entirely true. When was the last time a Sly Stelone(sp?) movie made money? Clearly economics doesn't drive some (most?) decisions in Hollyweird. But so what? What's that to me, or you, or flappy?

Actors get that much per picture when they are "bankable", that is, it is possible to get financing based on their participation, and when the return on investment is almost guaranteed to be extraordinary, because of the audience they can command by being on the marquee.....
