will, Another factor. A strong military is a deterrent to the take over of a government by a socialistic civilian contingent, and he knew it. That has been true throughout history, and I never said he was ignorant in the matters that concerned him. It is with a strong, and determined, military that freedom is won, and it is the same military that maintains that freedom through the ages.
