I believe you were the person who cited "secret sources" who claimed that the idea that Flight 77 was headed for the WH was nonsense.

October 24, 2001 -- Recalling the horror of AA Flight 77

ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross has an exclusive interview with Danielle O'Brien, the air traffic controller who handled hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 - which hit the Pentagon on Sept. 11. The interview airs tonight on "20/20" (10 p.m./Ch. 7).

"John, our supervisor, relayed verbatim, ‘OK, he's 12 miles west. He's moving very fast eastbound,' " O'Brien says. "And it was just a countdown . . . Our supervisor picked up our line to the White House and started relaying to them the information . . . and all of a sudden the plane turned away."

O'Brien says she's convinced Flight 77 was headed straight for the White House - but that the hijackers changed their plan due to sun glare and the fact that the White House was beyond a grove of trees. "They certainly could have had the White House if they had seen it," she says.
