I stand by my 60-40 split. It is nonsense to believe that Big Business donates to Democrats as equally as Republicans. Totally ludicrous.

Re: the day off for UAW members: How could it have been a "top secret" if the "day off to exercise democracy" was hammered out at the bargaining table!

Re: "skewered the election in favor of the Democratic Party": I certainly hope so. The Republican Party is a proponent of Big Business. The Democratic Party is a proponent of the common working man and woman. The UAW hard work also sent Spencer Abraham from the Senate to head up the Energy Department, helping to ensure that the GOP would not control both the House and Senate.
