Gore wouldn't have known whether to shit, or go blind. The first thing he would have done is cry for his daddy to burp him, and then hidden under his desk. I think that he is even glad he is not in charge.
This anthrax thing is concerning me, but not for the reasons you might think. Consider the word "terror"-intense, overwhelming fear. That is the goal of the terrorist. His aim is to strike fear in the hearts of those he considers to be his enemies. Unless we get a realistic handle on this thing, he will have achieved his objective. He will be well on the way to winning the conflict. The death of any innocent person, is tragic and not to be taken lightly, but more people are killed in car wrecks each day than have been killed by anthrax in the last few weeks. Gas masks are only partially effective. Taking cipro can be a problem. If one takes cipro without having the disease, it can be deadly, or can cause the body to build up an immunity so that, if he contracts the disease, the antibiotic will not be effective at all. Another consideration, is that there are patients with other diseases that depend on cipro to save their lives, and if others panic, and begin to hoard the medicine, those innocent people are in danger of death.
America did nothing to cause the attacks, and to think otherwise is treason. Basically, it is a war begun by a group of have nots, against the haves in America. They are jealous of our system that allows every one an opportunity to become wealthy to one degree, or the other.
It is time for all Americans to pull themselves up by their boot straps, get mad as hell, and beat the crap out of any, and all, terrorist they can get their hands on.
