albert re: as far as I know the common expectation that amd would return to profitability by the end of the next year and with very healthy growth rate. you know as well as I do that this is assuming that hammer is everything amd hopes it is. if not, if it is late, or Intel has something better, they will return to being a high debt, zero growth company like they were in the mid- to late-90's.
