All, I do some consulting and am analyzing a persons 401k. The person came over to pick up the analysis today and brought the September report so we could update it to include 3rd Quarter. The losses in September took away 3 years of savings contributions and earnings. He said it always comes back. BTW, this person is not young, is a college degreed professional and works for a company that is part of the DOW 30. Not yet ready to throw in the towel and preserve capital!!!! I wonder if this is representative of most employees at US corporations. Joan
