South Korean court upholds law banning adultery
South China Morning Post, October 25, 2001
South Korea's Constitutional Court upheld on Thursday a law banning adultery, rejecting a lawsuit by a couple which argued the law violated their basic right to the pursuit of happiness.

The law was challenged by a couple in their thirties who were prosecuted for adultery and sentenced to eight months in jail after the woman's husband sued her for infidelity.
