Joan, the problem I have with most 401K funds is that they simply do not provide enough choice. Same for annuities. Our own 401K has very blah choices. I know that they have to use inhouse funds, but they don't use some of the best at both of our inhouse managers. Part of it has to do with adding a fund after its had a good year, not before. That hurts. But we have a run and gun (lately it has been gunned <g>) intl. aggressive fund, and an option toting premium return fund I'd use if they were offered. And Salami has one of the best small cap growth offerings around. Also not offered. BORING! That is offered. <G>
