Hello Thomas. Your post......." I had to comment here. This story is very interesting, as I have been wondering of late as to why Sec. Rumsfield is now saying that it is possible we will never capture or kill him. Why all of a sudden are they trying to get the American people used to this idea, when in fact we accomplish nothing without killing him. Furthermore, it is also my opinion, we must capture or kill ( preferably kill ) all al queida members and for that matter the taliban. We can not do what was done in Iraq, when we left without killing saddam hussein.".....

IMHO. I have been wondering how the USA would handle the bin laden thing, if they kill him and show the body the world of islam will have a martyr and his trained killers will have a reason to fight on. If they capture him for trail there may be even more killing until he is released.
But if he is never found and still the taliban get wiped out and bin laden's killers get wiped out and terrorist around the world continue to disappear then his followers
will just be waiting around for further orders for the next hundred or so years. Might be a good plan.
