Anyone has any advise on whose SUV will do better, on ice on a steep slope, around a hairpin turn (her morning commute)? Forget all SUV's which have a high center of gravity and thus subject to rollover...especially with no shoulders and deep ditches. Look at Audi's 4WD sedans which routinely win European winter rallies. If I were forced to buy an SUV (which I've personally vowed to never do in my lifetime), I would look at the BMW which has the best crash test results.
