OT re SUV rollovers:

I've seen enough SUVs sitting on their hoods, around Anchorage, to believe you. Unfortunately, I also have to deal with the problem of unplowed roads, which means I need a high clearance. Our "other car" is a Ford Expedition, with 17" studded tires, giving it 11"+ of clearance, and I need all of it. But it does sorta sway when I take turns at speed. The kids love it, just like the rides at the Fair, they go "WWWhhooooooooeeeeeeeee!!!!!" on turns. The driver, of course, is the most important safety element.
