It does seem strange that the plane hit a low density low sensitivity area of the Pentagon, that's the only piece of data that I have that causes me doubt that it was the primary target. I would have gone to the Capitol for greatest impact. Well, let me say that the argument, if I remember actually goes back to whether Bush was a coward for going to a military base vs. returning to the WH. Some say the stories are manufactured to support Bush. If Bush thinks it prudent to go to a military base, I agree. I wouldn't question ANY President's action to save his skin in the early rounds of an attack. Until the situation can be accessed it is caution that is warranted. Do you think that people aren't cautious about entering the water after a fatal shark attack? I think the death of a President in the situation of 9/11 would have been extremely demoralizing to the US. We could not afford that possibility. It's another silly argument. Protect POTUS at all cost IMO. Jim
