Just listened again to the cc. Attempting to remain as critical as I can in order to view this stock as conservatively as possible. Operating costs will not go down next quarter even though 200 let go. Charges will increase to cover the 'reorganization.' The operating costs will be lowered in 2002 however. Brazil deal will have a negative short term impact on results. Sounds as if INSP is writing off any revenues in exchange for profit sharing in the future as well as a 'substancial' equity stake.-- Brazillian carrier must be hurting and unable to pay or some such thing. They will take responsibility for growing market and operating and 'selling' out some to INSP in order to stay in business. INSP agrees and uses it's product (platform) as the barter to keep in the position.--Hope Brazil market (South America) proves to be worthwhile...Once INSP gains some equity, maybe the can sell to someone else and most likely work a deal that they continue with INSP services...If they retain enough of the business then there will be a need for some non core expenditure to staff the enterprise (IMO). No hurry to own this stock at present, but next quarter (I thought the same thing for this quarter too at one point), will be very telling as far as operations, growth and impact of recent deals, and how 2002 is shaping up. Gotta run, will post more thoughts later.
