Hear ya. This is a tricky market. No question.

Since 9/11 have noticed MMs are even more cut throat than usual. Some suspicious trading patterns and swings lead me to suspect the PPT has had a large budget increase and more intervention aka manipulation will be the order of the day.

I've had my share of disappointments this year, as I think everyone else here has. Frankly, I don't know how you guys with other day jobs manage.

For me, it'll be a good year although nothing approaching last year which was the best of my career.

IMO we have a 1st class investment think tank here. An excellent variety of specialized areas of expertise and versatility of strategies are spread out among the contributors. We just keep putting our heads together and the gains will outweigh the losses by a healthy margin.
