Sector, thanks. I suspect it'll have problems in canyons, in the shadows of skyscrapers and in wooded areas, etc. I could see this satellite delivery scheme facing the same types of problems that the satellite radios faced prior to their resolving to install terrestrial repeaters.

If it presents a suitable price point that consumers respond to favorably, then it may be a contender, assuming it performs as advertized. I'd question the total capacity of the transponders serving any given area, within the footprint formed by the satellite's beam, and if the delivery scheme is one of a shared medium.

I'll read the pdf's, which I should have done in the first place.
