CNBC has been getting more and more ridiculous over time. They used to be a must-watch for investors and traders. Then they went for broader appeal and brought in the musical entertainment, the fluff pieces and all of the sensationalized reporting of the internet bubble. They turned from serious journalism to tabloid journalism. Some of their newer personalities are downright annoying, like their new high pitched more-annoying-than-nails-on-the-chalkboard economist Marcy Rossel (sp?) and the equally annoying Kathleen Tanzy. Add to that the unlistenable whinier-than-anyone-on-this-planet Cramer, and I find myself reaching for the remote and switching to Bloomberg and CNN way more often than in the past.

I consider CNBC no longer a must watch. I suspect that there are many others in my boat reaching for their remotes as well.
