COLUMBIA, Md., June 25 -- NAI Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: NATL), today announced that its Systems Division has been awarded $3 million in initial orders by the U.S. Government, for the design, integration and production of field deployed VME systems.
The system consists of a complex configuration, with over two dozen digital signal processor modules running concurrently, housed in a compact and lightweight rack-mountable chassis. The future potential for additional systems is estimated in excess of $40 million.

"This program gives the division an opportunity to showcase its considerable technical expertise as well as its ability to meet demanding environmental constraints and aggressive deployment schedules."
