Hi DB, Currently the situation is such that I won't be repurchasing any shares until the price gets back down to the low twenties. I have the resistance to buying set very high in the program I use. Once it gets to the point it starts buying, it doesn't take much to keep it in the buying mode.
Should we be fortunate enough to have the price head to triple digits, I'll continue to sell off small amounts of the shares along the way. Again, I don't know where the price will go next, but have a plan for whichever way it travels. The nice thing is that even if the price went up many times its current price, I'll still own some shares. Not as many as now, but will have at least as many dollars invested as I do now.
After I've sold more shares, the program I use will continue to raise the "next buy" price along the way. So, for instance, if it were to rise all the way to $100, the program would also raise the next buy price to around $50 or so. In other words, the buy/sell bracket moves along with the price.
Best regards, Tom |
