Andrew, it is not arbitrary, kinda' -g- Anyway, this is lunch and here are some links to explanations of the 'Discounted Cash Flow Method.' I just glanced at some of these; perhaps there one will find reasonings to make the discount factors less arbitrary. pw.com dtonline.com 199.103.128.199 rcmfinancial.com Hope at least some of these are useful. I used "discounted cash flow" in the search engine got >500 hits, looked quickly at 20-30 of those, and the above appear most useful. Maybe later I can go back to the other >470 (not) PB (PE ==> PCPA)
