I own my own small business. As we speak, I am working on billing. If my clients don't pay me, I have to close up shop. Then I can't pay my rent, my phone bill, and all of the little guys that I do business with. Multiply me times all the other lawyers, plus the doctors, dentists, shrinks, accountants, landlords, etc. etc. etc.
Under your setup, people can't pay their utility bills, phone bills, rent, mortgages, anything else.
Kids can't apply to college. No one can send birthday cards or Christmas cards.
I just don't see how it could work.
It would be a neutron bomb to the economy. |
