Jacob, once the government change the double taxation on dividends, companies will probably pay out dividends instead of using the money to buy back their own stock. Major stock buy back are nothing but tax free dividends to shareholders. When calculating the yield of a stock, it is a good idea to take into account stock buy backs. Zeev
