Smart man. I caught malaria in a supposed malaria free part of Bahia State, Brazil in 1994. I had the opportunity to take the pills but the pills made a friend of mine very ill and I thought what the heck I'm healthy I won't catch anything. I caught the mild form of malaria and count myself lucky. Also, I take something called combantrin for parasites twice yearly as a precaution.
