I may have butted into your comment to moenmac.
I guess I sent it to you as introduction to the question of
why do they hate us....
I found that article this morning. It caught my attention
with a view from a Saudi Arabian
Agree with it,in part yes.For the most part no.I think
this country made some bad decisions starting back in the late 30's and leading into WWII.We helped them pump the oil
out of the ground, set up an economy that any nation could prosper from.
Did we look close enough at the Israeli-Arab situation?no
Did we force Saudi Arabia into underhanded agreements?no
Those people more than likely tripped in open tar pits
for over 2000 years before they knew what the hell it was.
Did we believe that everyone would like to live in a democracy as we have ?
Did we stand by and watch all of the opec nations rob their countrymen of the riches that could of helped every
citizen ?
Did we notice that those nations contribute nothing ?
Did we contribute weapons to both sides of controversy ?
Is it the United States problem for the killing,
starvation, suffering and displacement of innocent civilians
in their country by sanctions put on them by us?
Hereis a Quote I find repulsive.

It is strange and incomprehensible how Americans inevitably boast of their freedom when they are in fact restricted by their government’s actions and policies. What did Americans do when they learned that because of sanctions against Iraq, 500,000 children had died in that unfortunate country.

I just heard the other day that the number one cause of death in Iraq is heart disease.not malnutrition.

Its all been about controlling the oil among all of the
oil-rich nations.

From Ayatollah Khomeini to Hussein from
Iran to Iraq they are using their population of the followers of Muhammad to conquer the world and rid the earth of Western thinking.
