The degree of need to reform and experiment with public education can be summed up by answering one simple question.

Are teachers, principals, administrators, and elected officials more or less likely to send their kids to private schools than the rest of Americans?

If the rank and file union working teacher believed in the system, and the reforms they're enacting, the answer would be no. If politicians and administrators believed in the reforms, the answer would be no.

What do you think the answer is flapjack?
