Well that was weak. Bagels, eh? Come on, BirdDog. Give me some clue as to your intellectual capacity to comprehend the events we are witnessing. Give me some reason to trust that you actually comprehend the geo-political forces that are shaping the world in the 21st Century. (Let me know that you understand that this is a cultural construct of our own European/Christian heritage and that it has nothing to do with the calendars extant in the Islamic and Han worlds, indicating that you are clueful about our hegemonic myopias.)

Re: . At the worst...you have accepted a completely base view of all our country's intentions.
No, just the scumbags who think that bribery pays. The confusion regarding the benefits accrued to slimebuckets who buy off politicians is something I've never confused with the ideals of American liberty and justice that seem to be only window dressing for the current malaise we are forced to endure.

Re: You have accepted the criminal attitude in your heart. Which must come before you do anything.
No, actually, I think we might consider what kind of charges Ken Lay might be up for. I haven't accepted the notion that just because he's one of the principal bribers of the man in the White House that he ought to get away with anything. Naw, I'm not too keen on criminality. Sorry, you can't peg that one on me.

Salaams, Ray :)
