I am becoming a bit frustrated of late with the growing conservative tone to Sprint PCS in their forward choices. Granted they are committed to CDMA, but instead of rushing ahead and creating the data market with aggressive ads, showing just how far CDMA technology is ahead of the rest, they are taking it very slowly, and making no effort to tout their abilities.

It has been said before on this thread many times, that one would expect either Sprint or Verizon to take advantage of 1X's better spectrum utilization, lower prices, offer high speed data service, advertise like crazy, and take the market away from the other players, but they act as if they have nothing at all different to offer.

From a consumers point of view, one would not know there was any difference.

Acquaintances of mine that use ATT are convinced that it is superior, and that GPRS will knock the socks off of anything that V or PCS have to offer. Why aren't V and PCS running ads to counter this?

Granted that the Euros are spreading the big lie, but for crying out loud, why are our two major players allowing it to go unchallenged?
