It was too late to edit again. Since changing smooth scrolling
in IE has no effect my problem is I can't disable smooth scrolling.
Just a more precise way of saying what I was trying to say in my
last post. Hope you all make more productive use of your free hour
than I just did. Scrolling through the Internet Options Advanced
window is normal but scrolling through web pages and text
documents is where my problem is.

One more edit:
I just checked the IE 6 options in the W2K Pro profile I usually
use. Smooth Scrolling was checked but unchecking doesn't
seem to do anything. It definitley didn't give me the waves
I'm getting on the XP install.
