It's nice to see, that Microsoft has finally reached Linux-like functionality, when it comes to single worldwide binaries, automatic software updates and remote stuff. But I think they made a mistake not to give home users a power failure safe file system. Corrupt files don't increase system stability, and consumers don't have the best power supply there is. I guess that XP will do like Windows 2000: Very stable at first, but driver problems. Later, driver problems will be solved mostly but the XP systems become unstable due to patches, service packs, more 3rd party drivers, more installed applications... and power failures. Lars.
