Puck, << AWE is already offering GPRS service in at least a couple markets--I believe Seattle is one of them. I don't see why it should take another year for them to complete the GPRS network overlay. >> AWS will complete 40% of the overlay this year and 100% by end of 2002. Much more involved and more expensive than (lets say) a CDMA upgrade. They are actually implementing a GSM overlay (with GPRS) on a TDMA net. - Eric -
