Jeff, the majority of start-up companies in an emergin industry end-up going broke. The only real way to learn this is to go through one cycle of it. Then you will see the impossible come to pass. There are many Westell's and Amati's that will go broke in this cycle also. It may not be Amati and Westell. Those companies with a proven record of making profits such as Pairgain and peripheral co. like Zytec amd others are strong cannidates for success. Those companies are almost never hyped because the investors that have found them are putting all their dollars in them. I found Pair when it whas breaking 20 and rode it--with many bumps to over 100. Until Pair got to near 100 their was little recognition. Today, Zytec is the same kind of company. It is peripherally situated but in fact an xDSL, Cable, internet, fiber, coax, computer and more player. How is that? It provided the power supplies for routers, computers, printers, telecommunication equip. etc. etc. etc. It is exploding in earning, sales and growth before the deployment of interacative Tv or interactive internet. REgadless who looses, those little companies win and win big---along with their investors. Companies like Pair and Zytec are also manipulated by the street and MM baut the fundamentals are their and the reinvestors are not moved and therefore the stocks do no collapse--although they can scare you nto checking the fundamentals of the co. everyday to reassure you that you ahve not missed something. And at the end of all man's planning and intelligence is ---LORD WILLING! |
