FWIW, DBC is reporting that somewhere in his "research" note, TK "estimates Micron could obtain as much as 20 percent of the market by 1999" on the 64's, based on the assumption that they could become the low cost producer of the 64's.

Love the word "could".

Wasn't Tom Kurlack the analyst who pounded the table prior to earnings saying that if they COULD manage to sellout their inventory, they'd beat his .47/sh estimate?

Did they beat his number - no, of course they didn't.

Does the market have that short a memory? Obviously, some parts of it do.

Just because something COULD happen doesn't necessarily mean it's likely to happen.
