Ed, my point was to show the analysts are in many cases no better predictors of the market than us. When have they ever said sell a stock because its overvalued or will likely decline rapidly from the current price? Good research is a must, but the market move on that always. Geting awards was simple in the 90's. Every stock recommendation worked in the running bull market. Take your pick and you would have a winner. Now the selection process is much different. Won't it be refreshing to have these guys say, "Hey, I made a mistake with that recommendation. The business fundies are not what I expected and therefore I would not buy the stock now. Wait for a better time to buy" Saying you made a mistake before a stock has decline 90% would be the right thing to do. But then again they get paid whether they are right or wrong. Yes, do keep those posts coming. I do like to here what the "pros" have to say, because I can do the opposite to make money, ggg
