A Question for the war mongers on the thread who want bin Laden's head on a platter: do you believe in redemption? Do you believe that a person can change? If you do, there is no way you should support war.

A Story....

Once upon a time there was a religious zealot who killed many people, including women and children, because their beliefs ran counter to his. The number of people he killed was staggering. He went out hunting all believers of the "infidel" and had them killed. He wanted to administer justice according to God's Law, which he believed states that blasphemy against God was punishable by death. Now imagine that this person many years later becomes a Saint! This is the true story of St. Paul, who was known as Saul of Tarsus before he became a Saint. Just something to think about. Change is possible, even for the most egregious cases, and redemption should never be assumed to be impossible. If St. Paul had lived today, no members of this thread would have given him a chance at redemption. Let's not make that mistake.

Regards,

Brian

BTW, I posted this twice because I believed it is an important point, though few people(even the so-called religious people) will mention it.
