Sparky65, I am an owner of SMTL ,and watch (but do not own FSII). Yesterday I called Semitool (at Running Bull's suggestion actually), and asked about a program for transition to 300mm wafer capable tools. Semitool returned the call and confirmed that they have a program for transition to 300 mm wafer chips in place and underway. Also Semitool's volume was tremendous today- 6x normal volume. I wonder if this was an outfall of the FSII announcement? FWIW Semitool's earnings for the quarter should be announced about July 21st. Perhaps their announcement can give us some guidance where this sector of the equipment market is going.... I hope that that information helps.... Sincerely, Doug F.
