Hello; The November 2001 issue of Smartmoney Magazine has an article on investing in Timber. The conclusion is that unless you are a very wealthy individual who can afford to purchase quite a bit of land, stocks are the way to go. PCL was the 1st choice, with DEL an RYN right behind. Grab the issue and read it. It's a short article, but very enlightening. Be well. Mark
